Levitt AMP Minot Music Series — Citizens Alley, Summer 2026 Program Initiated by Levitt Family Foundation
The Levitt AMP Minot Music Series is bringing ten weeks of free live music to Citizens Alley on summer Thursdays, with local, regional, and national acts taking the stage in the heart of downtown Minot. Initiated by the Levitt Family Foundation - which is supporting over 900 free concerts in more than 90 towns and cities nationwide this year - the series has grown into a true community production, matched by funding from more than a dozen local businesses and organizations who stepped up to make it happen. Each Thursday now draws between 600 and 1,300 people, alongside a full vendor market of 15+ local food, art, clothing, and jewelry makers. Behind the scenes, a growing volunteer network of over 100 people, with 12 to 20 on hand each week, handles hospitality, setup and teardown, supported by five AmeriCorps members coordinating marketing, volunteers, and vendors. A partnership with the Minot Area Council of the Arts also puts a local or regional opener on stage every night, investing directly in the Minot area's own music scene. What started as a concert series has become something closer to a weekly ritual - proof that when a community shows up for something together, it grows. With continued support, the series will return to Citizens Alley in 2027 and 2028.
